We take care of all your groceries during the tour. Once you have bought your items, they are safely stored away in a cool place in our well–appointed vehicle and all you have to do is sit back and look forward to the next stop on this gourmet shopping tour!

We take you to all of Jim and Lynette’s regular haunts for stocking the pantry – places that they have been visiting with their family members for decades – Unpretentious and unashamedly Italian! Shop owners invariably speak Italian as their first language and many of the customers do too! This mix of gourmet Italian food stores also offers a range of products which will make great gifts or special treats for you, your friends or loved ones!

After the shopping part of the tour guests have time to enjoy a casual lunch at the many great Italian cafes and restaurants in Lygon St before we conclude the tour.* Lygon St is a celebration of all things Italian and is the location that introduced the espresso machine to Melbourne in the 1950s, hence launching the city’s famous love affair with coffee.
