It is hard to express my feelings in words. Firstly, Jim is caring and considerate of every guest’s needs – always calm in all situations, especially driving on mountain roads. That for me was reassuring as I have a fear of heights. I must say he took care of everything from the time we met of a morning until he dropped us off at night. This was the best by far of any tour in variety, flexibility, punctuality, organisation and friendliness. We laughed our way from Milan to Rome. Fantastico Jim- grazie mille! It is not possible to name the highlight of my experience with Italian Delights Tours in Italy. For me the journey itself was the highlight. Every turn in the road was a breathtaking delight of magnificent vistas; and every plate of carefully selected food and wine was a pleasure on the palate. Jim is the most congenial of hosts and a delight to travel with. His enthusiasm for Italy and the food and wine had you inspired. He would hold your interest as he regaled Italian history, culture, governments and stories of interest in regions we drove through. Nothing was a trouble and he would attend to any needs or request with a smile. It all ran so smoothly, the weather was very kind and you didn’t want the days to end. I would highly recommend this sojourn through some of the most picturesque drives in Italy.

We travelled on the “6 Day Luxury Fine Food Wine and Lakes Tour of Piedmont” and without doubt it was a most wonderful and luxurious experience. The Villa Sparina Resort was outstanding. We just loved the décor including the beautiful artwork and all the staff were terrific. It really was an amazing place and the food was exceptional. Jim’s knowledge of the region was so informative and we enjoyed every place that he took us to including the Lakes, the Fontana Fredda Winery, and the Designer shopping outlet. It was all great. We didn’t want to ever leave! We highly recommend that you take a tour as you will not be disappointed.
