This magical itinerary provides an intimate, local experience of hidden Venice, the artisans of the Veneto, the unique beauty of the Dolomites and the ancient villages and food and wine traditions of Friuli Venezia Giulia! It is conducted by local expert guides and drivers, and managed by our good friends and passionate locals of Treviso, Marianna and Chiara. 

Venice, Treviso, the Dolomites, Aquileia, a day out in the Prosecco wine region, Treviso market visit and cooking class, Alpine cheese making and picnic, along with a visit to the famous Josko Gravner vineyard, home of his famous biodynamic orange wine - Ribolla!

DAY 1 – Arrival Day in Treviso

Welcome to Treviso, known as the “little Venice of mainland Italy”! This afternoon you meet your local tour guide at the charming Locanda San Tomaso, before discovering the vibrant and quaint town centre surrounded by the medieval walls. Marvel at the numerous canals and water sources, the cobbled streets and the graceful architecture. You will love the elegant atmosphere and especially the taste of pure flavours of the typical small osterias offering a large variety of “cicchetti” (finger food), always accompanied by local excellent wine.
*A private driver is available to pick guests up at Venice’s Marco Polo Airport to transfer you to our lodging in Treviso at your own cost.

DAY 2 – From market to the table!

Today explore Treviso from one of its tastiest points of view! In the morning meet your personal Chef at the charming Piazza dei Signori in Treviso for a shopping tour and mix it up with the locals: you will learn everything about the famous Venetian cuisine and its traditional products. Visit the vibrant open-air fish and farmer’s market and choose among the freshest in-season products for your professional cooking class at an exclusive location. Then enjoy your homemade lunch and in the afternoon there will be a delicious surprise made in Treviso: a taste of the most famous local dessert, Tiramisù right in the place where the recipe was born!

DAY 3 – A relaxing day in Bella Venezia!


 Meet your personal Tour Guide and enjoy an exclusive walking tour through the typical Venezia’s calli and ponti. You will discover the most unknown corners and the most ancient artisan traditions dated back to the 15th and 16th centuries during the Serenissima Republic of Venice. For lunch, follow our self-guided suggestions to taste the authentic Venetian food and wine at a local osteria. In the afternoon, take some free time to explore Venice and wander among its beautiful landscapes, before we take you back in Treviso.

DAY 4 – The heritage of Prosecco in the Valdobbiadine Region

Today let your emotions flow freely, whilst admiring a landscape of verdant hills disseminated with well-ordered vineyards and tiny villages, where ancient traditions are carefully preserved and nurtured. We have selected a few local small wineries to give you the chance to taste high quality wine such as the sparkling Prosecco. Discover the secrets of wine making in little known areas of the Veneto region. Lunch will be held in a typical agriturismo, with tasty local specialties. With a large amount of beauty in your heart, you will be ready to head back to Treviso to enjoy your free evening.

DAY 5 – The spectacular Dolomites and Alpine cheese making class

Today your private chauffeur will take you to the “Queen of the Dolomites”! Start enjoying this marvelous corner of the world, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cortina D’Ampezzo in the Ampezzano Valley is a fantastic place to enjoy enchanting nature, tradition and lifestyle. Take part in an extraordinary cheese making class in a real alpine hut and then taste some of these mountain flavors. After lunch you’ll spend the afternoon wandering among the shops or the peaks that made Cortina and the Dolomites world famous!

DAY 6 – Free Day


Today is up to you! You can either stay in Treviso and enjoy some walking or shopping in its lively and elegant historical centre, or decide to revisit Venice, or explore the surrounding ancient towns and rural landscapes, such as Bassano del Grappa, Asolo, Vicenza or Padua (optional trips not included in the price of tour).

DAY 7 – Friuli Venezia Giulia: Aquileia and its wines in Amphoras!


Be a Patrician for a day! Discover the history of one of the most important cities of the Roman Empire. In Friuli Venezia Giulia’s ancient town of Aquileia you will walk the ancient forum and Roman roads with a local guide. You’ll have the chance to see the remains of public baths and private houses; admire the stunning Byzantine frescoes, and the splendid Christian mosaic floors of the Basilica. After some free time for lunch, we will open the gates of a very special small winery in the Collio wine region. Here grape fermentation is made in huge amphoras buried in the ground. The result is just unbelievable!

DAY 8 – “Arrivederci” Day

Arrivederci Veneto! After breakfast, you will be driven to the airport at your preferred time.
